Not only will this help adults to develop new skills and hobbies, it can also help keep their brains young and can delay age-related cognitive issues.

1: Strict focus on tasks
Often when we are trying to get a job done we end up dipping into other tasks, answering our phones, listening to music etc, which all works against our memory, as we are not focused on one thing. Just like a computer screen, having too many tabs open can prevent you from focusing and engaging with the task at hand.

Discovering a new talent or learning new skills is the perfect exercise your brain needs, no matter what age you are at.

Even around 20-30 minutes of brisk walking can really help improve the overall health of your brain, plus it’s a good chance to get some fresh air.

Our diet contributes to our overall health and wellbeing, as they say, you are what you eat! Enjoy a diet that is rich in olive oil and vegetables to help lower blood pressure. Foods such as nuts, leafy veg, lentils, seafood, poultry, berries are just some examples of brain healthy foods.
